Our Vision
Premiera Care is devoted to providing excellence in service. We recognize that people are the number one priority in every segment of our business. We are dedicated to innovation in offering alternative care options that promote affordable life-style choices ehnancing dignity, privacy and choice. We commit to the highest degree of professionalism, integrity and fiscal responsibility in the assisted living field.
Our vision can best be represented in the following story which describes what it looks like to us when we are successfull at what we do.
When the lights go out in Premiera Care communities each night, our residents will fall asleep in a warm, comfortable apartment with a door that locks, rather than one that opens to the hall, they will know that if help is needed, it is only minutes away. Within the privacy of their apartment, a contented sigh and the click of the bedside lamp will signal the end of another active day, filled with good company and delicious meals. Their children will be sleeping well too, trusting that their loved ones are cared for by well trained and respectful professionals. We will guard and hold dear our philosophies, visions, values and beliefs and use them as a beacon to direct our decisions and actions on our path to the future.
Our Community Covenant
Premiera Care requires that all Managers be active members of the community in which we provide services. We pledge to participate in events that promote the health, safety and well-being of the community at large through our involvement in local Chambers of Commerce, Rotary International and senior citizen oriented support organizations.
Our Heart Felt Commitment
As Premiera Care was established, its President and CEO, Don Petersen determined that growth could potentially compromise the quality of care his company offered. Learning from the mistakes of other larger, out of state companies, he pledged never to diminish the quality of service to existing residents. In order to support their determination to accommodate the needs of Premiera Care residents and associates, Don and his wife Joani also pledged never to build an assisted living community further away than a three hour drive from their home in Oakdale, California, ensuring their residents and staff of frequent visits and therefore consistent, exceptional service.
Premiera Care has remained true to its beliefs and mission to this day. The team now has ownership interest in and management of five assisted living communities, all located in the Central Valley of California. We like to say that we are valley people, taking care of valley people. We believe that you make more responsible business decisions when you know your customers are also your neighbors and that is a very good thing when you are in the business of providing care and services to a frail population.
If you are considering assisted living as a lifestyle option for yourself or a loved one, we hope that you will consider one of our wonderful communities. Joani and I and our extraordinary team of associates would love to have the opportunity to serve you.
